Each phase of the program is given an overview, including a summary of the exercises and where to find their details in the rest of the ebook.

Each exercise is then laid out in detail, with pictures and exercise descriptions to ensure you perform it correctly. There is also an explanation as to why each exercise is in the program and how it will directly benefit your running. At the bottom of the exercise description there is a list of coaching points and exercise options to make it more or less challenging.

  2. Flexibility and Stability
  3. Functional Strength
  4. Functional Power

Each phase has new exercises to challenge the specific element of strength conditioning, progressing from the previous phase. By the end of the Functional Power phase you should be running faster, finding hills easier and picking up fewer injuries.
